Jun 2012 - BT selects CarbonDiem to help measure the impact of superfast broadband on carbon emissions

We're proud that BT has commissioned CarbonDiem to help measure the impact on carbon emissions of the superfast broadband service in Cornwall.Superfast Cornwall is an ambitious £132 million programme to bring superfast broadband to Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly by 2014. BT and BT's Superfast Cornwall partner, the Cornwall Development Company, have commissioned CarbonDiem to help to understand the carbon impact of superfast broadband. Superfast Cornwall is offering CarbonDiem to the residents and businesses of Cornwall in a ground-breaking study to help quantify the carbon benefits that superfast broadband will enable, including the changes in travel behaviours as a result of taking superfast service.

May 2012 - CarbonDiem to join other British innovations at the Global Business Summit

The UKTI has selected CarbonDiem to showcase its technology to world business leaders at the ICT Global Business Summit this summer. The Summit is part of a programme of events hosted by the British Business Embassy for British and international businesses running from the eve of the Olympic Games on July 26th to the end of the Paralympics on September 7th. CarbonDiem will have the honour of presenting its enterprise solution at ever impressive Lancaster House on 3 August alongside a programme of addresses by top-calibre business leaders such as BT's Ian Livingston, the BBC's Mark Thompson, Telefonica's Ronan Dunne, Autonomy's Mike Lynch, Mydeco's Brent Hoberman and many more.

Apr 2012 - Bon Voyage! New Cities Foundation picks CarbonDiem as an AppMyCity finalist in Paris

New Cities Foundation has picked CarbonDiem as one of three finalists in the AppMyCity! contest. We're honoured to be selected by the Foundation because of its dedication to and expertise in improving the quality of life and work in our cities. The contest will be decided at the annual New Cities Summit - an invitation-only event bringing together about 800 global thought leaders in technology, infrastructure, architecture, energy, transport, national and local government, the media, academia as well as the non-profit sector. We have the privilege to present CarbonDiem at the event in Paris on 15 May.

As usual, the mobile giants are geared up to make industry-shaping announcements at MWC. Even though we love to shout about CarbonDiem, it is hard to imagine that a start-up would be able to get its voice heard in media coverage ahead of the event.

Jan 2012 - CarbonDiem Shortlisted as one of the UK's Most Innovative Mobile Companies

In its search to find the country's top innovators, Smart UK Project hasshortlisted CarbonDiem as one of the UK's Most Innovative Mobile Companies. The competition is being judged by mobile and business experts including Jon Bradford of Springboard, former AdMob executive Russell Buckley and Mike Short of Telefonica Europe so we are honoured to have been selected. And we are delighted to be listed alongside exciting companies such as blippar, P2i and QRpedia. The winner gets announced at this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 29, 2012.
